The People Behind the Work

Meet the Legal-eze Team

Decades of courtroom experience. A passion for visual storytelling. And an obsession with helping attorneys win.

Founders & Leadership

Executive Team

Legal-eze was founded by Robert and Baron Philipson and is led day-to-day by Michelle Earing — three leaders with a shared obsession for helping attorneys win.

Baron Philipson
Co-Founder

Baron Philipson

President & Co-Founder

Baron Philipson is a former traffic homicide detective and had been the youngest in Florida history to serve in that role. During his tenure with the Broward Sheriff’s Office, he testified extensively as an accident reconstruction expert throughout Broward County and was also called upon to investigate and defend complex cases in Grand Cayman.

In 1997, Baron transitioned from full-time law enforcement to part-time reserve status to pursue his passion for advancing justice through thematic visual storytelling. By combining investigative expertise with powerful visual communication, he has helped attorneys present complex facts with clarity and persuasion.

Since then, Baron has worked on more than 1,000 cases, including several hundred trials, and is widely recognized as a leading expert in litigation consulting and trial presentation. His work has supported high-stakes cases across a wide range of practice areas, delivering compelling themes and visuals that resonate with juries and decision-makers.

Robert L. Philipson

Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder

Robert Philipson has spent more than three decades at the intersection of law and visual communication. As co-founder of Legal-eze, he built his career on a simple principle: juries remember what they see.

With experience in hundreds of trials — including some of the largest in U.S. history — Robert is a nationally recognized hot-seat operator and litigation graphics strategist. A technology innovator, he develops C# software and AI-assisted discovery tools that help trial teams harness complex data for the courtroom.

He has recently contributed to multiple $20+ million wrongful death verdicts (2023–2025) and was part of the team that secured a $1+ billion verdict in Boston Superior Court in 2022.
